Milos became the center of the international scientific mining community between 30 June-3 July. In the framework of the 6th International Conference on Sustainable Development in the Minerals Industry – SDIMI 2013, 190 scientists (geologists, mining engineers, mineralogists etc.) as well as industry representatives from 29 countries in the world constituted a multicultural hub of knowledge and experience exchange. MILOTERRANEAN GEO EXPERIENCE was presented among 100 scientific papers. The conferees had the opportunity to visit one of the seven Miloterranean routes, “Aggeria”, and were fascinated by the unique geological landscape and its remarkable beauty.
